Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

1. Introduction Ratna Sangh is committed to ensuring the safety and protection of children from all forms of sexual abuse and exploitation. We strictly prohibit any actions, content, or behavior that may contribute to the abuse, exploitation, or endangerment of children. This standard outlines our principles and procedures for safeguarding children within our community.

2. Zero Tolerance Policy Ratna Sangh maintains a zero-tolerance policy against child sexual abuse and exploitation. Any reported or suspected cases will be taken seriously and dealt with in accordance with the law.

3. Definitions
  • Child: Any person under the age of 18.
  • Child Sexual Abuse (CSA): Any form of sexual interaction with a minor, including but not limited to physical contact, online exploitation, grooming, or exposure to explicit content.
  • Child Exploitation: The use of a child for financial, personal, or social gain, including trafficking, forced labor, and sexual exploitation.

4. Protection Measures
  • Screening & Training: All personnel, volunteers, and associated members of Ratna Sangh must undergo background checks and training on CSAE prevention.
  • Reporting Mechanism: Any suspected or actual child abuse must be reported immediately to local authorities and Ratna Sangh’s designated protection officer.
  • Online Safety: Content shared on the Ratna Sangh website and mobile application will be monitored to prevent any material that exploits or endangers children.
  • Confidentiality: The identity of victims and whistleblowers will be kept confidential, and no retaliation will be tolerated against those who report abuse in good faith.

5. Reporting and Response
  • Any individual who becomes aware of child sexual abuse or exploitation within Ratna Sangh must report it to sanghwebsite@gmail.com or the appropriate law enforcement agency.
  • Ratna Sangh will cooperate fully with authorities in investigating and prosecuting offenders.
  • Reports of abuse will be documented and assessed in a timely manner.

6. Compliance & Review

  • Non-compliance with these standards will result in strict disciplinary action, including legal proceedings where applicable.
